A small diameter, under Ø20 mm
Suitable type: Calibrated round bars
Why: Calibrated bars cover the smallest diameters in this group.
A large diameter, over Ø250 mm
Suitable type: Hot-rolled round bars
Why: Black bars are the only ones in this group that reach this size.
A bar for a hydraulic cylinder or as a base for chrome plating
Suitable type: Peeled bars
Why: A peeled, straightened and oiled surface; also used as the base for chrome plating.
Ø20 – Ø100 mm with h9 / h11 tolerance: calibrated or peeled?
Suitable type: Calibrated round bars
